Attributes of God

All-knowing
1 John 3:20, for whenever our heart condemns us,
God is greater than our heart, and he knows everything.

All-powerful
Genesis 1-6, In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. (Read on in your Bible!)

All-wise
Romans 11:33, Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!

Compassionate
James 5:11, Behold, we consider those blessed who remained steadfast.
You have heard of the steadfastness of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and merciful.

Eternal
Psalm 90:2, Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had
formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.

Faithful
Psalm 111:7, The works of his hands are faithful and just; all his precepts are trustworthy;

Good
Exodus 33:19, And he said, “I will make all my goodness pass before you and will proclaim before you my name ‘The LORD.’ And I will be gracious to
whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.

Gracious
John 1:16, And from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.

Holy
Psalm 99:5, Exalt the LORD our God; worship at his footstool! Holy is he!

Immaterial
John 4:23-24, But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true
worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is
seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship
him must worship in spirit and truth.

Impassable
Isaiah 55:8-9, For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Infinite
Psalm 147:5, Great is our Lord, and abundant in power;
his understanding is beyond measure.

Just
Exodus 34:6-7, The LORD passed before him and proclaimed, “The LORD,
the LORD, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, keeping steadfast love for thousands,
forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means
clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children and
the children’s children, to the third and the fourth generation.”

Kind
Psalm 145:17, The LORD is righteous in all his ways and kind in all his works.

Love
1 John 4:16, So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.

Loving
1 John 4:8, Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

Merciful
Luke 6:36, Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful.

Omnipresent
Jeremiah 23:24, Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the LORD. Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the LORD.

Patient
2 Peter 3:9, The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some
count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any
should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

Righteous
Psalm 145:17, The LORD is righteous in all his ways and kind in all his works.

Self-existent
Psalm 90:2, “Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.”

Self-sufficient
Acts 17:23-25, For as I passed along and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription, ‘To the unknown god.’ What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you. The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything.

Simple
Deuteronomy 6:4, “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.”

Sovereign
1 Timothy 6:15, “he who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of
kings and Lord of lords,”

Trustworthy
Psalm 111:7, “The works of his hands are faithful and just; all his
precepts are trustworthy;”

Unchanging
James 1:17, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.”
